Constellation Project!

Students are doing a project over constellations.  They have all week in class to work on it and it is due on Monday, June 1st. Any late work will be docked 10% per day.  The details of the project can be found below!  Upcoming as well will be a study guide in anticipation of their science final.  Stay tuned.......

Above is a diagram representing the Life Cycle of a Star.  Students need to choose if they want to be a Low-Mass star or a High-Mass Star and write a creative story from the perspective of the star going through it's life.  The details are at the link below.

Crazy times!

So, well things have been beyond crazy around here with standardized testing taking place over the next couple weeks.  We are studying stars; characteristics, magnitude, color, and life cycles.  This will all lead into our Constellation Project that will begin probably next week.  For that project, students will need foam board.  Any color, but black usually looks amazing!  Stay tuned for more updates!

Today we went over the moon phases and then had homework over them!  MSP test is tomorrow morning get lots of sleep, eat breakfast and come in ready to show what you know!

This whole week we are reviewing concepts from the past three school years trying to refresh our memories in order to perform well on our MSP next TUESDAY!  All review is done in class.

MSP: Tree Frogs

Today on #TackkThursday we were having computer issues so we did a MSP practice!  This time it was over Pacific Tree Frogs.  After completing it, we graded it and turned it in.  Tomorrow is Kahut day, don't miss it!
